About Mountain Closets
Founded in 2002, Mountains Closets provides local and professional closet design & installation services to mountain homeowners in Colorado. By 2018, award winning designer, Dan Higbee, partnered with the original owner to help create the best closet company on the Western Slope.
Dan literally grew up in the closet business, as his parents owned a big-name closet company in the Denver metro area. With over 30 years experience in production, installation, management and designing, he brings to Mountain Closets his unique set of experience, skills, and expertise.
He consistently earned awards for “Outstanding Dedication” and “Top Designer of the Year”, and was even ranked top 10 Designers in the whole country!
When the founder of Mountain Closets was ready to retire, it was only natural for Dan to take full ownership of the company in 2022. In just 1 short year, Dan was awarded “Recognition of Inspirational Contributions & Performance” from Organizers Direct in 2023. Mountain Closets is the exclusive dealer of Organizers Direct products in the Aspen-area and is ranked #1 as the top preforming Organizer Direct dealer in US.
